Jack Rosen – Chairman, American Council for World Jewry
Jack Rosen has a long record of community leadership. In addition to chairing the American Council for World Jewry, he is Chairman and past President of the American Jewish Congress; serves on the trustee of the Appeal of Conscience Foundation. He is a member of the Board of the Hudson Institute and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Mr. Rosen was appointed to the United States Holocaust Memorial Council by both President Bill Clinton and President George W. Bush. He was a member of the U.S. delegation to the Organization of American States and of the U.S. Presidential Delegation to the funeral of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, and was a special guest of President Clinton’s at the historic signing of the Israel-Jordan Peace Treaty. In 2004, President George W. Bush appointed him to the U.S. Delegation to the landmark Berlin Conference on Anti-Semitism convened by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
Mr. Rosen is the founder and Chief Executive of Rosen Partners LLC, a leading residential and commercial real estate development firm operating worldwide. For more than 30 years, the firm and its affiliates have created innovative residential, commercial and hotel developments. He has taught at Beijing University in the Master of Business Administration graduate program. A graduate of City University of New York, he and his wife reside in New York and have two sons.
